Leo Sayavedra

Leo Sayavedra has over 20 years of experience in field management, production operations and digital transformation working directly for and with various E&P operators. Throughout his career, Mr. Sayavedra has established focused capabilities working with E&P operators in production planning optimization, capital efficiency, cost control, increased recovery methods, mature asset operations improvement and digital oilfield technology solutions.
Mr. Sayavedra’s extensive experience working with petro-technical professionals, his technical engineering background, and extensive work throughout production optimization has provided him with a firm grasp of the entire E&P asset lifecycle – from exploration to field development and production and through facilities optimization.
Known as a corporate innovator, Mr. Sayavedra has worked with National Oil Companies (NOCs), Supermajors and Independents in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Australia. He has served a variety of leadership roles including Global Director, Supervising Partner, Program Manager, Operations Consultant, and Business Development Executive. Presently, he is focused on growing Halliburton’s petro-technical consulting business by providing clients with a variety of digital technologies and techniques specifically tailored to transform reservoir production. In addition, Mr. Sayavedra has a patent pending for an innovative digital process for detecting, visualizing and reducing methane emissions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sayavedra served as an aide to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Commerce where he drove numerous policy efforts in trade, remote sensing, commercial space issues and telecommunications, to name a few.
Mr. Sayavedra has a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business from the University of Texas at Austin.
